In August of 2017, we lost this amazing mare. A slight case of heaves turned to full-on COPD despite our best efforts to manage it and treat it, with the help of our vet. She gave us three fabulous foals and we carry on her legacy in our herd with our Bob Cat Rio (x Bobs Hickory Rio). We can only hope to have a mare of this quality again. Here’s a mare that anyone can be proud to own. We are thrilled to add this dynamite daughter of High Brow Cat to our herd and we believe she is the first High Brow Cat daughter and one of two direct offspring of High Brow Cat in Manitoba.
Bred in the purple! Not only is she sired by High Brow Cat, her dam is a producing daughter of legendary broodmare sire, Docs Stylish Oak. Added to that, her maternal grand dam is the great Lenas O Lady (x Peppy San Badger), who produced the up and coming sire Auspicious Cat (x High Brow Cat). AND, Cats O Lady is the dam to our Bob Cat Rio (x Bobs Hickory Rio) who is currently in training with Cain Quam. Cats O Lady has offspring by Bobs Hickory Rio and Boonlight Dancer.
We are loving her 2014 foal CRR Snack O De Mayo (Snackbox Dually x Cats O Lady). “Kitty” is bred to NCHA money earner and COA earner Duals Blue Bet (Duals Blue Boon x Bet On Houston x Peptoboonsmal) for a 2015 foal. Duals Blue Bet is owned by Candice Lonsdale, Canadian Quarter Horses of Swift Current SK.
